Cocoa Coconut Banana Pops

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbs dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbs of flaked coconut
  • flaked coconut for garnish
  • Chocolate sauce for garnish
  • 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder

This is a great dessert that you can prepare in 10 minutes, plus freezing time. It sings with the tropical flavors of cocoa, coconut and bananas.


Directions:

  • Peel the bananas and cut int large chunks.
  • Puree the banana in a blender of food processor until smooth.
  • Add cocoa powder, vanilla, sugar and coconut and pulse to combine.
  • Pour into individual serving dishes.
  • Place in the freezer for about 1 hour or until slightly frosty.
  • Top with shredded with coconut and  or chocolate sauce if desired.
