Guyana Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of crab meat, jumbo lump, snow or king crab
  • 4 tbs honey
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 large red pepper, minced
  • 4 tbs jerk spice
  • 1 and 1/2 cups bread crumbs
  • 4 tbs butter

 

  • Gently combine all ingredients, except for the butter.
  • Form 12 to 15 crab cakes
  • Fry crab in butter at medium heat until golden brown on each side.
