Middle Eastern Lamb Kofta
Ingredients
1 lb ground lamb | ||
1 egg yolk | ||

This is a popular dish served in the middle east, made with grilled ground beef or lamb.
- In a bowl, mix together the ground lamb, onion egg yolk, oregano and cinnamon.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Using medium handfuls of the meat mixture,press half of the mixture onto each skewer.
- The skewers should be about the size of a hot dog in width.
- Press meat firmly around skewers, then refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
- Cook skewers over hot charcoal, turning frequently until desired doneness is achieved. About 10 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
