Strawberry Jam
Ingredients
4 cups ripe strawberries | ||
3 cups sugar | ||
1 tbs vinegar | ||
1/2 bottle liquid pectin |
This is a prize winning recipe for this delicious jam.
- Mix berries, sugar and vinegar.
- Heat and stir slowly until sugar dissolves.
- Simmer (low boil) for 20 minutes.
- Increase heat and boil hard for 3 additional minutes.
- Remove from heat and skim off foam.
- Stir in pectin.
- Pour into prepared ball jars or you may cool before freezing in plastic containers.
