Strawberry Jam

Ingredients

  • 4 cups ripe strawberries
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 tbs vinegar
  • 1/2 bottle liquid pectin
This is a prize winning recipe for this delicious jam.
  • Mix berries, sugar and vinegar.
  • Heat and stir slowly until sugar dissolves.
  • Simmer (low boil) for 20 minutes.
  • Increase heat and boil hard for 3 additional minutes.
  • Remove from heat and skim off foam.
  • Stir in pectin.
  • Pour into prepared ball jars or you may cool before freezing in plastic containers.
