Carrot Bread

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups grated carrots
  • 1 and 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Mix shortening, eggs, sugar and carrots,
  • Add dry ingredients.
  • Add mixture to a greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour.
