Carrot Bread
Ingredients
3/4 cup shortening | ||
1/2 cup brown sugar | ||
2 eggs | ||
3 cups grated carrots | ||
1 and 1/4 cups flour | ||
1 tsp baking powder | ||
1/2 tsp baking soda |
- Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.
- Mix shortening, eggs, sugar and carrots,
- Add dry ingredients.
- Add mixture to a greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour.
