Meringue Cake Frosting
Ingredients
| 1 tbs meringue powder | ||
| 3/4 cup sugar | ||
| 1/2 cup water | ||
| 1 cup margarine | ||
| 1 cup shortening | ||
| 2 tsps vanilla | ||
| 2 lbs powdered sugar |
- Beat together meringue powder, sugar and water until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the margarine, shortening and vanilla.
- Slowly beat in the powdered sugar.
- Add the meringue to the mixture and beat about 5 minutes, until light and fluffy.
