Tony Roma Knock off Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
2 and 1/2 cups ketchup | ||
1 and 1/4 cups tomato sauce | ||
1 tbs prepared mustard | ||
1/2 cup brown sugar | ||
1 tbs black pepper | ||
1/2 cup wine vinegar | ||
2 and 1/2 tbs of A-1 steak sauce | ||
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce | ||
3 tbs Worcestershire sauce | ||
3 tbs soy sauce | ||
1/4 cup onion, chopped | ||
2 cloves garlic, chopped | ||
1 and 1/2 tbs liquid smoke | ||
2 tsp kosher salt | ||
5 (oz) canned beef broth |
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 and 1/2 hours.
- May be used during the last 10 to 15 minutes of grilling.
- May be stored for several weeks in a covered container.
