Basil Oil
Ingredients
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil | ||
1 bunch fresh basil, stemmed |
- In a sauce pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Remove from the heat.
- Add the fresh basil, stir and allow to cool.
- Place the mixture in a food processor and puree until smooth.
- Place in a squirt bottle and set aside for garnishing desired plates.
- Refrigerate for later use.
