Basil Oil

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 bunch fresh basil, stemmed
  • In a sauce pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat.
  • Add the fresh basil, stir and allow to cool.
  • Place the mixture in a food processor and puree until smooth.
  • Place in a squirt bottle and set aside for garnishing desired plates.
  • Refrigerate for later use.
