Spiced Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs water
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Beat the water and egg white in a bowl.
  • Stir in the pecans and coat well.
  • Mix the sugar, salt, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small bowl.
  • Sprinkle over the pecans and mix well.
  • Spread the pecans evenly on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cool and serve.
