Beer Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
1 (14oz) bottle of ketchup | ||
1 (12oz) bottle of chili sauce | ||
1/2 tsp prepared mustard | ||
1 and 1/2 cups packed brown sugar | ||
2 tbs fresh cracked black pepper | ||
1 and 1/2 cups wine vinegar | ||
1 cup fresh lemon juice | ||
1/2 cup A-1 steak sauce | ||
Tabasco sauce to taste | ||
1/2 tbs soy sauce | ||
2 tbs vegetable oil | ||
1 can amber beer | ||
2 tsp fresh garlic, chopped |
- Combine the ketchup, chili sauce, mustard, brown sugar, pepper, vinegar, lemon juice, steak sauce, Tabasco sauce, soy sauce, oil, beer and garlic in a large bowl and mix well.
- Add to a sauce pan and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Cool and add to freezer friendly containers.
- Use as desired and freeze the remainder for future use.
