Beer Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (14oz) bottle of ketchup
  • 1 (12oz) bottle of chili sauce
  • 1/2 tsp prepared mustard
  • 1 and 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbs fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 and 1/2 cups wine vinegar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup A-1 steak sauce
  • Tabasco sauce to taste
  • 1/2 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tbs vegetable oil
  • 1 can amber beer
  • 2 tsp fresh garlic, chopped
  • Combine the ketchup, chili sauce, mustard, brown sugar, pepper, vinegar, lemon juice, steak sauce, Tabasco sauce, soy sauce, oil, beer and garlic in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Add to a sauce pan and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Cool and add to freezer friendly containers.
  • Use as desired and freeze the remainder for future use.
