Martinique Sauce Piquant
Ingredients
1/2 cup hot water | ||
1 cup shallots, minced | ||
1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped | ||
2 cloves garlic, minced | ||
4 hot green peppers, seeded and chopped | ||
3 tbs lime juice | ||
kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper |
Directions:
- Pour the hot water over the shallots, chives, garlic and hot pepper, mix well.
- Stir in the lime juice and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Allow to stand for 1 hour before serving.
