Asian Spiced Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb blanched whole almonds
  • 1/4 lb cashew nuts
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp water
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 2 tsp five spice powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Directions:

  • Add the nuts to a bowl and sprinkle with soy sauce and water. Mix well
  • Add the five spice powder and garlic powder and mix again to combine.
  • Place the nuts on a foil covered baking sheet and dot with butter.
  • In a preheated 350 degree oven, bake the nuts for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
