Caribbean Tamarind Sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup tamarind pulp (available at Caribbean and Asian markets) | ||
1 cup water | ||
1/2 cup sugar | ||
1 medium onion, minced | ||
1 garlic, clove chopped | ||
1 tsp Habanaero hot sauce | ||
2 tsp fresh cilantro chopped |
This sauce is a wonderful the is perfect spread over seafood or chicken.
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until smooth.
- Serve over chicken or fish.
