Crepe Batter
Ingredients
3 egg yolks | ||
1 cup milk | ||
1/2 cup cold water | ||
1 tbs sugar | ||
3 tbs orange liqueur | ||
1 and 1/2 cup flour | ||
pinch of salt | ||
5 tbs melted butter |
This recipe is for a sweet dessert crepe batter. If your desire is to make savory crepe’s just eliminate the sugar and orange liqueur from the recipe.
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process for a few seconds or until mixture is thoroughly blended and smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- To make crepes preheat a seasoned non stick pan over medium heat and pour crepe batter into the pan coated with vegetable spray.
- Cook until the crepe is slightly browned on the edges and dry on the top. There is not need to turn.
