Basque Marinade
Ingredients
4 garlic cloves | ||
1 tsp white pepper | ||
1 tsp ancho chile powder | ||
1 tsp sage | ||
1 cup dry white wine | ||
2 tsp lemon juice | ||
1/2 cup water | ||
1/4 cup olive oil | ||
1 tsp kosher salt |
This is a rich marinade that is good for seafood or meats and is often used to marinate lamb.
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients.
- Allow to soak into meat for 4 hours to overnight.
- Can be stored in the freezer until ready to use.
