Vietnamese Nuoc Cham Dipping Sauce
- 3 tbs lime juice
- 2 tbs sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 and 1/2 tbs fish sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Thai chilies, seeded and chopped
- optional: cilantro and or mint leaves
This is a dipping that is commonly used in Vietnam to dip spring rolls and the like.
- Combine the lime juice, sugar and water, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
- Add the fish sauce, garlic, chilies and cilantro and mint if using.
- Taste and adjust flavors as desired.
