Szechuan Peppercorn Seasoned Salt

Ingredients

  • 6 tbs kosher salt
  • 2 tbs Szechuan peppercorns

This is a wonderfully spicy seasoned salt.

Directions:
  • Place a dry skillet over low heat.
  • Add the salt and peppercorns.
  • Stir until the salt is lightly browned and the peppercorns begin to smoke.
  • Remove from the heat and cool.
  • Pour the mixture into a food processor or spice grinder and process at high speed for about 30 seconds.
  • Store in a jar with a tight fitting lid.
