Maple Walnut Apple Cobbler
Ingredients
6-8 large tart apples, peeled and sliced | ||
1/2 cup sugar | ||
3/4 cup gingersnap crumbs | ||
1 tbs flour | ||
1 tsp cinnamon | ||
1/2 tsp kosher salt | ||
1/2 tsp kosher salt | ||
1/4 cup butter, melted | ||
1/3 cup maple syrup |
- Arrange half of the apple slices in a buttered baking dish.
- Combine sugar, ginger snap crumbs, flour, cinnamon, salt, nuts and butter.
- Spread half of the mixture over the apples.
- Layer with the remaining apples, then top with remaining crumb mixture.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
- Heat the maple syrup to almost a boiling point, then pour over the cobbler.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
