Herbed Mustard Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp dried tarragon
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
This is a compound butter that has a variety of uses with Chicken, beef, pork or seafood. It may be used to saute or drizzle over when cooking.
Directions:

  • Place butter and mustard in a food processor and process until smooth.
  • Add the herbs, celery salt and cayenne and continue to combine.
  • Remove butter from processor and shape as desired.
  • Wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap and freeze until ready to use.
