Orange Butter Cake
Ingredients
2 cups flour | ||
1 cup graham cracker crumbs | ||
1 cup light brown sugar, packed | ||
1/2 cup sugar | ||
1 tsp baking powder | ||
1 tsp baking soda | ||
1/2 tsp kosher salt | ||
1 tsp ground cinnamon | ||
1 cup butter, softened | ||
1 tbs grated orange rind | ||
1 cup orange juice | ||
3 eggs, lightly beaten |
- Combine first 12 ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat at low speed in an electric mixer until blended. Increase speed to high and beat for another 3 minutes.
- Pour batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from the pans and cool completely on the wire racks.
