Creamed Chipped Beef
Ingredients
2 (3 oz) pkgs of sliced dried beef | ||
1/4 cup butter | ||
kosher salt and black pepper to taste | ||
2 cups milk | ||
1/4 cup flour |
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter then stir in the flour and stir constantly for about 1 minute.
- Slowly add the milk stirring after each addition.
- Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
- Cut beef into shreds and add the the cream sauce and heat through.
- Serve over toast points or mashed potatoes.
