English Cucumber Quick Pickles
Ingredients
1 English Cucumber | ||
1/2 cup water | ||
3 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed | ||
2 tsp dill seed | ||
1 tbs chopped fresh dill | ||
1 tsp red pepper flakes | ||
2-3 tsp kosher salt | ||
1 cup apple cider vinegar |
- Add all ingredients to a quart jar with a tight fitting lid.
- Shake to dissolve salt and spices.
- Slice cucumber into thin slices, then place in the jar with the pickling liquid.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 3 days before serving.
