Red Wine Steak Sauce

Ingredients

2 tbs onion, minced
2 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 cup red wine
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbs butter, chopped and kept cold
2 tbs parsley, chopped
kosher salt and black pepper to taste
  • Add olive oil to a medium hot pan and saute onion and garlic until onions are translucent.
  • Whisk in wine and mustard and reduce by 2/3 over medium heat.
  • Add parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Serve with you favorite steak or roast.
