Cheddar Cheese Canapes
Ingredients
1 cup chopped onions | ||
2 tbs vegetable oil | ||
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, shredded | ||
2 tbs Worcestershire sauce | ||
1/2 cup mayonnaise | ||
1/2 cup mayonnaise | ||
1 lb of bacon, cooked extra crisp and crumbled | ||
crackers or wedges of rye bread | ||
chives for garnish |
This is great dish for an appetizer. Super simple and quick to prepare.
Directions:
- Saute the onions in the vegetable until tender. Drain away fat.
- In a bowl combine the onions and the rest of the ingredients.
- Spread on crackers or rye bread.
- Broil until the cheese is bubbly. About 10 minutes.
