Here are some ideas for some creative pizza toppings. The possible toppings are almost endless. Be creative and try your favorite combinations.
Garlic and Cheese:
- Spread the dough with roasted garlic puree and add your favorite goat cheese, and sprinkle with fresh rosemary, cracked black pepper and extra virgin olive oil,
- In the shell mussels and clams, and shelled shrimp (tail on) . Spread a thin layer to tomato sauce and spread the seafood evenly around the pizza and drizzle with olive oil, kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper. Bake at 450 degrees until the shells open. This pie is beautiful and becomes wonderful finger food as the mussels and clams leave their savory liquids behind.
Tomato Sauce and Mushrooms and Fontina Cheese:
- Home made tomato sauce with lightly sauted mushrooms. You can also add pepperoni and roasted red peppers along with a combination of Fontina and asiago cheese.
White Potato Pizza:
- Thinly slice potatoes, rinsed and dried, arrange slices over top of pizza, sprinkle with the cheese of your choice, drizzle with olive oil and fresh rosemary.
- Ricotta cheese

- Fresh vegetables
As you can see the combinations are endless. The important thing in pizza making is getting the crust thin and crispy.
