Crispy Breaded Cheese Ravioli with Red Pepper Dipping Sauce


1 lb of store brought fresh cheese ravioli (available at most grocery stores)
1 cup of Italian seasoned bread crumb
1 cup of Italian seasoned bread crumb
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp garlic powder
4 eggs, beaten
2 tbs unsalted butter, divided
2 tbs extra virgin olive oil, divided
Fresh basil, torn
Roasted red pepper cream sauce
This recipe uses store brought fresh cheese ravioli that is fried to crispy goodness and dipped in a creamy red roasted red pepper dipping sauce.
  • Combine bread crumbs, cheese, flour, basil and garlic powder in bowl.
  • Dip ravioli in eggs, then dip in bread crumbs to coat.
  • Set on a baking sheet and repeat will all remaining ravioli.
  • Heat 1 tbs of butter and 1 tbs of olive oil in a saute pan over high heat.
  • Add ravioli and cook on each side for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  • Repeat with remaining ravioli, adding butter and oil as needed.
  • Serve with red pepper dipping sauce.
  • Garnish with basil pieces.
  • You may also use marinara sauce for dipping.
