- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tbs unsalted butter
- 1 6 oz can of tomato paste
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 and 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tbs red pepper flakes
- 1 tbs kosher salt
- 1 tbs fresh cracked black pepper
This a tangy and sweet barbecue sauce that is perfect for most meats cooked on a charcoal fire.
- Combine all ingredients and simmer until sauce thickens.
- Stir frequently. About 30 minutes.
