Grilled Marinated Mako Shark


  • 1/2 lb of Mako shark
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • juice of 3 lemons
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
Mako shark is a meaty fish that takes well to grilling.

  • Combine lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper.
  • Place Mako in a baking dish and cover with the marinade.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Grill Mako for about 4 minutes per side. (based on 1 thick inch fillets)
  • Baste with marinade while grilling.
