Charcoal Roasted Vidalia Onions
Ingredients
4 large Vidalia onions, skin on | ||
1/4 cup olive oil | ||
kosher salt for sprinkling |
Grilling these onions over charcoal makes them super sweet.
- Heat coals on a charcoal until grey.
- Rub onions all over with olive oil.
- Sprinkle salt over each onion.
- Place whole onions over charcoal and cook for 30 to 40 minutes, turning frequently.
- Outside of onions should beĀ charred.
- Remove charred skin, slice and serve.
