Cheddar Cheese Sauce
|4 tbs butter|
|1/4 cup sifted flour|
|2 and 1/2 cups milk|
|1 tsp salt|
|1/2 tsp dry mustard|
|1 tsp Worcestershire sauce|
|1/4 lb of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded. (more if you like it thicker or less if you like it thinner)|
This is a sauce that you can use in Mac and cheese, atop English muffins, over casseroles or over mixed vegetables.
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over low heat or you may use a double boiler.
- Stir until cheese melts and ingredients are combined.
