Lemon Limeade


  • Grated rind of 3 lemons
  • Grated rind of 3 limes
  • Juice of 6 lemons
  • Juice of 6 limes
  • 2 qts. boiling water
  • 2 and 1/4 cups sugar
  • cold water
  • ice cubes

Super refreshing.

  • Combine the rind and juice and let it stand overnight.
  • In a sauce pan pour the boiling water over the sugar and stir to dissolve.
  • Bring to a boil for five minutes.
  • Cool.
  • Combine the syrup with the lemon juice mixture.
  • To serve dilute lemon/limeade syrup with equal parts of cold water.
  • Serve over ice.
