- pastry for pie crust
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbs sugar
- 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbs butter
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Line a 9 inch pie plate with pastry.
- Combine remaining ingredients and fill pie shell.
- Sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with 1 tbs of butter.
- Place top crust over pie and seal well. Cut several slits in the top.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
