Blueberry Pie
Ingredients
pastry for pie crust | ||
4 cups fresh blueberries | ||
1 cup sugar | ||
3 tbs sugar | ||
1/2 tsp grated lemon peel | ||
dash of salt | ||
1 tsp cinnamon | ||
1 tsp nutmeg | ||
1 tbs butter | ||
2 tsp lemon juice |
- Line a 9 inch pie plate with pastry.
- Combine remaining ingredients and fill pie shell.
- Sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with 1 tbs of butter.
- Place top crust over pie and seal well. Cut several slits in the top.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
