Asian Chilie Dipping Sauce


  • 2 roasted green chilies, chopped (roast over a gas flame or under a broiler to remove skin)
  • 2 tsp Anchovie paste
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp grated lime peel
  • 2 tbs lime juice
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 scallions, minced (white and green parts
  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl except for the scallions
  • Sprinkle with the scallions and serve with raw vegetables for dipping.
  • Recipe may be doubled.
