Chinese Dipping Sauce


  • 1 Cup of sour cream
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 scallion, minced
  • Toast sesame seeds in a dry saute pan for several minutes.
  • Add all ingredients to covered bowl and mix well.
  • Refrigerate covered for several hours or until thoroughly chilled.
  • Use as a dipping sauce for raw vegetables or shrimp crackers.
