Barbecued Marinated Beef Tri-Tip
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 lbs of Tri-tip steak | ||
3/4 cup soy sauce | ||
2 cloves garlic, crushed | ||
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated | ||
1 tbs olive oil | ||
kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste |
Directions:
- Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger, oil and pepper in a zip lock bag. Mix well.
- Add the steak and marinate for 2 to 3 hours, turning several times.
- Grill tri-tip over hot coals, turning once. About 1 hour for medium rare.
- Let steak rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
