Caribbean Lime Steak
Ingredients
1/3 cup lime juice | ||
1/4 cup canola oil | ||

2 tbs prepared mustard | ||
1 tsp lime peel, grated | ||
1 tsp garlic powder | ||
1 tsp pepper | ||
1 tsp kosher salt | ||
1 tsp kosher salt | ||
lime wedges for serving | ||
2 lbs flank steak, trimmed |
- In a non metal bowl, whisk the lime juice, oil, molasses, lime peel, garlic powder, pepper and salt.
- Score the flank steak across the top against the grain.
- Pour the lime juice mixture over steak, turning to coal on all sides.
- Cover and marinate steak for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Cook steak over hot coals or broil for 5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
- Slice steak thinly on the diagonal and serve.
