Sweet and Sour Green Beans


  • 1 lb of fresh green beans
  • 1 tbs brown sugar
  • kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 strips of bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 3 tbs cider vinegar
  • 1 tbs water
  • Combine dry ingredients and mix with the cooked bacon.
  • Add vinegar and water, and stir to thoroughly to dissolve ingredients.
  • Cook beans until tender then drain.
  • Add the vinegar mixture to the beans and heat until liquid is just boiling.
