Sweet and Sour Green Beans
|1 lb of fresh green beans|
|1 tbs brown sugar|
|kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste|
|1/4 teaspoon paprika|
|1/4 tsp dry mustard|
|2 strips of bacon, fried and crumbled|
|3 tbs cider vinegar|
|1 tbs water|
- Combine dry ingredients and mix with the cooked bacon.
- Add vinegar and water, and stir to thoroughly to dissolve ingredients.
- Cook beans until tender then drain.
- Add the vinegar mixture to the beans and heat until liquid is just boiling.
