Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs


  • 3 lbs Spare ribs
  • 3 tbs A-1 steak sauce
  • 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce
  • 2/3 cup apricot preserves
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • On a rack in a baking pan, bake the spareribs  in a  preheated 350 degree oven for one hour.
  • Cut the ribs into serving size pieces.
  • Combine remaining ingredients for sauce.
  • Grill ribs over charcoal, basting frequently with sauce, turning frequently for 15 to 20 minutes or until well glazed.
