Steamed Blue Crabs


  • Water
  • vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 dozen crabs
  • Pot should have a raised rack about 2 inches high.
  • Add equal quantities of vinegar and water just below the level of the rack.
  • Layer crabs and sprinkle each layer with seasoning.
  • Cover and steam until crabs turn red. About 30 Minutes.
  • Recipe may be doubled.
