Caprese Italian Sub
Ingredients
1 large Italian or French Sub roll or 4 slices of ciabatta bread | ||
1/4 cup pesto sauce | ||
4 to 8 tbs of vinaigrette | ||
4 to 8 thinly sliced tomatoes | ||
4 to 8 slices of fresh mozzarella cheese | ||
kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper | ||
1 tbs oregano |
- Split bread and spread on pesto sauce.
- Next place sliced tomatoes on top, and add the mozzarella.
- Drizzle the vinaigrette over and season with salt, pepper and oregano.
- Top with the remaining bread slices and serve.
