Caprese Italian Sub


  • 1 large Italian or French Sub roll or 4 slices of ciabatta bread
  • 1/4 cup pesto sauce
  • 4 to 8 tbs of vinaigrette
  • 4 to 8 thinly sliced tomatoes
  • 4 to 8 slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
  • kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbs oregano
  • Split bread and spread on pesto sauce.
  • Next place sliced tomatoes on top, and add the mozzarella.
  • Drizzle the vinaigrette over and season with salt, pepper and oregano.
  • Top with the remaining bread slices and serve.
