French Plum Cake
Ingredients
2/3 cup unsalted butter | ||
3/4 cup sugar | ||
2 eggs | ||
1 tbs vanilla extract | ||
1/2 tsp cinnamon | ||
1 cup flour | ||
1/8 tsp salt | ||
7 plums pitted and cut in half | ||
2 tbs sugar |
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
- Add the cinnamon, flour and salt and mix well.
- Pour into a greased 9 inch square pan.
- Toss the plums with sugar.
- Arrange the plum halves in rows on top of the cake.
- Bake cake for 45 minutes.
