Asparagus with Asian Sauce
Ingredients
2 garlic cloves, minced | ||
3/4 tsp fresh ginger, minced | ||
pinch kosher salt | ||
4 tbs soy sauce | ||
1/2 tsp sugar | ||
1/2 tsp sesame oil | ||
1 tbs white wine vinegar | ||
1/2 tsp black pepper | ||
2 scallions, chopped, white parts only | ||
1 lb asparagus, steamed |
Directions:
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, ginger and salt.
- Add the soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, vinegar, pepper and scallions. Mix well.
- Pour over the steamed asparagus or serve on the side in small bowls.
