Asparagus with Asian Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • pinch kosher salt
  • 4 tbs soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbs white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 scallions, chopped, white parts only
  • 1 lb asparagus, steamed
Directions:

  • In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, ginger and salt.
  • Add the soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, vinegar, pepper and scallions. Mix well.
  • Pour over the steamed asparagus or serve on the side in small bowls.
