Dominican Shrimp Cocktail
|1 cup olive oil|
|1/4 cup lime juice|
|1/2 tsp sugar|
|2 tsp Worcestershire sauce|
|1 tsp hot pepper sauce|
|1 medium onion, grated|
|kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste|
|1 and 1/2 lbs large shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined, tails off|
- Mix the oil, lime juice, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce, onion, salt and pepper. Whisk thoroughly to combine.
- Toss the shrimp with the sauce and serve cold as an appetizer.
- Recipe may be doubled.
