Dominican Shrimp Cocktail


  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1 and 1/2 lbs large shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined, tails off
  • Mix the oil, lime juice, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce, onion, salt and pepper. Whisk thoroughly to combine.
  • Toss the shrimp with the sauce and serve cold as an appetizer.
  • Recipe may be doubled.
