Horseradish Sauce


  • 5 inch piece of fresh horseradish, peeled
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 and 1/4 cups creme fresh or sour cream
  • kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
  • Finely grated the horseradish.
  • Sprinkle the grated horseradish with the lemon juice to prevent discoloring
  • Mix with the creme fraiche or sour cream and season to taste.
  • Recipe may be doubled.
