Indian Milk Pudding


  • 6 cups rice milk
  • 2 bananas, pureed
  • 2 tsp apple butter
  • 2 tbs brown rice syrup
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
This is a favorite amount Indian children.

  • Boil rice milk and reduce the heat to low, stirring occasionally.
  • Simmer the milk for about 30 minutes, until the milk is reduced by about 2/3 of it’s volume.
  • Add banana puree and apple butter, then add brown rice syrup and cardamom.
  • Cool covered the the refrigerator.
  • Serve chilled.
