Italian Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 2 slices soft white bread, crust removed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 lb ground veal
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 4 tbs Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, crumble the bread and mix with the milk.
  • Add the meat, parsley, cheese, salt, pepper, eggs and mix well, using your hands.
  • Shape into a loaf and put in an ungreased loaf pan or on a baking sheet.
  • Bake  at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and brush with tomato sauce and sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese.
  • Return to the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes more.
