Italian Meatloaf
Ingredients
2 slices soft white bread, crust removed | ||
1/2 cup milk | ||
1/2 cup milk | ||
1/2 lb ground veal | ||
1/2 lb ground pork | ||
1/2 lb ground beef | ||
4 tbs Parmesan cheese | ||
2 tsp kosher salt | ||
2 tsp black pepper | ||
2 eggs | ||
1 cup tomato sauce | ||
1 cup tomato sauce | ||
1 cup tomato sauce |
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large bowl, crumble the bread and mix with the milk.
- Add the meat, parsley, cheese, salt, pepper, eggs and mix well, using your hands.
- Shape into a loaf and put in an ungreased loaf pan or on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and brush with tomato sauce and sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes more.
