Yucca Chips
Ingredients
1 large Yucca root | ||
oil for deep frying | ||
kosher salt |
Directions:
- Peel the Yucca root and slice crosswise, as thinly as possible.
- Add the sliced root to ice water and let set for 30 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- Add oil to a sauce pan or deep fryer 1/3 full and heat to 370 degrees.
- Fry chips until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.
