|1 avocado, pitted and chopped|
|1 cup fresh basil leaves|
|2 garlic cloves|
|1 lemon, zested and juiced|
|kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste|
|1 tbs olive oil|
|2-3 tbs room temperature water|
- Combine all ingredients, except for the water in a food processor.
- Process mixture until smooth.
- If necessary add a little water to thin out the sauce.
- Use as a sauce drizzled over chicken or fish or if left thick, use as a dipping sauce.
