Crepe Batter


  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 3  tbs orange liqueur
  • 1 and 1/2 cup flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 5 tbs melted butter

This recipe is for a sweet dessert crepe batter. If your desire is to make savory crepe’s just eliminate the sugar and orange liqueur from the recipe.


  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process for a few seconds or until mixture is thoroughly blended and smooth.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • To make crepes preheat a seasoned non stick pan over medium heat and pour crepe batter into the pan coated with vegetable spray.
  • Cook until the crepe is slightly browned on the edges and dry on the top. There is not need to turn.
