Easy Butter Dumplings


  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 6 tbs butter, softened
  • seasonings of choice

These dumplings a super easy to prepare. They can be used in soups and stews or just simmered in hot water and served as a side dish.

  • In a bowl mix the flour and the butter and add seasonings of choice.
  • Add the beaten eggs and form the mixture into a dough.
  • Drop the mixture teaspoon by teaspoon into gently boiling, soup stew or water.
  • After the dumplings have risen to the surface cook for another 5 minutes, turning over if necessary
