Easy Butter Dumplings
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup flour
- 6 tbs butter, softened
- seasonings of choice
These dumplings a super easy to prepare. They can be used in soups and stews or just simmered in hot water and served as a side dish.
- In a bowl mix the flour and the butter and add seasonings of choice.
- Add the beaten eggs and form the mixture into a dough.
- Drop the mixture teaspoon by teaspoon into gently boiling, soup stew or water.
- After the dumplings have risen to the surface cook for another 5 minutes, turning over if necessary
